In 2007, Octavio specialty coffees acquired the traditional New York City roasting firm Dallis Coffee, which has a long tradition in specialty coffees in the United States. Since 1913 it has been importing coffee beans from various parts of the world, including Brazil, to compose its famous blends, now available in hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques in 35 American states and 12 countries worldwide.
Its acquisition of Dallis Coffee will enable Octavio to expand marketing for its brand internationally and strengthen its position among the best global brands of specialty coffees.
